mung in comparison to all your tragic mishaps I've been fortunate enough with my Sony headphones. Not sure which model but it is a four year old predecessor of this <a href="http://www.sony.com.au/product/mdr-g75lw">one</a>. Lately though the foam has disintegrated and I have had to wear them without the soft cushions. There is still a bit of padding so it isn't completely uncomfortable. I have been trying to hunt down some replacement foam but haven't had any luck until today. SG Airlines had disposable foam for their in-flight entertainment headset and it looks like it might be large enough. Hopefully these will fit...
