Does knife handle shape and size help make stabbings more effective? Apparently not.

"The bottom line," Horsfall says, "is that stabbing performance is almost wholly dependent on the person holding the knife, and is not a function of the knife handle." He emphasises also that "this paper does not in any way illustrate how to stab people".
